Imam Sahib was delivering a sermon on a joyful Friday. I was also present when I heard his sermon in the mosque. The subject was improving sustenance. According to him, there are three ways to expand the supply: number one is "diligent prayer," number two is "asking for forgiveness in great quantities," and number three is "spending in Allah's way." Whoever gives to the mosque, the madrassa, the needy, the orphans, the widows, or otherwise gives in Allah's way, will receive at least 10 times that amount back from Allah.

When he came back, Imam Sahib narrated an event regarding it. He said that in the time of Prophet Moses, there was a man who was extremely impoverished, could not even acquire food, and had turned into a skeleton. This man came to Prophet Moses. And I told you to ascend a mountain and communicate with Allah. Now, if you want to leave, then implore Allah (SWT) to provide you all of your life's food at once so that you can fill your stomach and eat for a few days.

A few years had gone since this incident when Moses suddenly remembered the man's plight and told him that he was a huge man. So Moses prayed to God Almighty and this man was given a few bags of wheat, goats, and some other things that this is your livelihood - Moses was satisfied. He ran a sizable company. Numerous individuals were approaching him.

They'll be his guests, of course. He is providing for them, dining there, and residing there. Astonished, Moses returned to the mountain and pleaded with Allah Almighty to grant the guy instantaneous access to the nutrition necessary for his entire life. When compared to two or three years later, it was tiny at first. O my darling Moses, he struck a deal with me for the sake of the visitors; if he had spent the money on himself, he would have had something similar. He was fed by me in the name of Allah, and I always gave him tenfold in return.

At the conclusion of the speech, Imam Sahib said that if you are providing for someone in Allah's way, you should not believe that wealth is vanishing but rather that it is on the verge of arriving instead. Later, I too began adhering to Imam Sahib's advice, and I am grateful to Allah Almighty that my provision has grown.
