49 fatalities mostly in Sindh had been reported in the past day, bringing the death toll since mid-June to 777. Additionally, 59,665 homes have suffered damage, bringing the total number of damaged homes to 176,436 mostly in Sindh and Balochistan. As of August 21, the National Disaster Management Authority  reports that 317,896 people were residing in relief camps around the nation, and approximately 1,868,098 people had been saved. As of August 20, 1,356,863 people in Sindh are affected by the flooding in the province, including 309,944 households and approximately 495,381 people who have been forced to from their homes. 

Since mid-June, 2.3 million people in Pakistan have been affected by heavy monsoon rains and floods, which have destroyed or damaged at least 95,350 homes. The two provinces with the greatest impacts on people and infrastructure are Sindh and Balochistan. Nearly 3,000 kilometres of roads and 129 bridges have been damaged, leading to the death of around 504,000 animals, almost all of them in the province of Balochistan. A multisectoral fast needs assessment was conducted in 10 districts of Balochistan at the request of the Balochistan Provincial Disaster Management Authority  in order to identify priority needs and gaps across sectors.

Humanitarian partners are assisting the Government-led response in the impacted areas, reallocating resources to address the most immediate needs while trying to scale up the response even more.
Rainfall from the monsoon continues to have an impact on Pakistan, worsening the humanitarian situation. The National Disaster Management Authority  claimed that floods, landslides, flash floods, and other severe weather-related occurrences resulted in 73 fatalities on August 23–24, 31 of which were in Singh Province. More than 900 people have passed away and over 1,290 people have been injured since the monsoon season began (mid-June). The monsoon season has affected more than 3 million people, 184,000 of whom have been relocated to relief camps across Pakistan. More than 495,200 homes have reportedly suffered damage. In addition, 130 bridges, more than 3,000 kilometres of roads, and 702,100 head of livestock have been lost.
