The moon of Zul-Hijjah was not seen in the country. According to details, the meeting of Central Route Hilal Committee convened to observe Zul-Hijjah moon in Karachi has come to an end. The meeting was chaired by Chairman Central Route Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khair Azad. Representatives of Ministry of Science and Technology, Meteorological Department and scholars were also present in the meeting.
The meeting also kept in touch with zonal sighting committees across the country. According to the Central Route Hilal Committee, no evidence of the moon has been received from any part of the country, so Eid-ul-Adha will be celebrated on Sunday, July 10 in the country. Earlier, the Director Religious Affairs Punjab also said that the moon of Zul-Hijjah was not seen in Lahore.
The moon of Dhi Al-Hijjah was born at 7:52 this morning. The age of the moon at sunset is 11 hours and 49 minutes. In Punjab, the time of sunset is 7:13 and the moon is at 7:45 That is, it could be seen for 32 minutes.
Similarly, the Meteorological Department says that if the moon reaches the age of 26 hours, it can be seen. On the other hand, other Gulf countries, including Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and other countries in the world are trying to see the moon of Zul-Hijjah. Malaysia has become the first country to officially announce the date of Eid-ul-Adha this year. The moon of Dhu al-Hijjah has not been seen in Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, Japan and Hong Kong.
It should be noted that preparations for the arrival of Eid-ul-Adha have been started all over the world. Astronomers have already predicted the possible date of Eid al-Adha. Engineer Muhammad Shaukat, head of the International Astronomical Center, has said that it will not be possible to see the moon of Dhu al-Hijjah in any Islamic country on Wednesday, June 29. In many Islamic countries, including Saudi Arabia, the first Dhu al-Hijjah will be on Thursday, June 30, while the Waqf of Arafa is expected on Friday, July 8, and Eid al-Adha on Saturday, July 9. It is likely that in many Islamic countries, Friday will be the first day of Dhu al-Hijjah and July 10 will be Eid al-Adha.
